I Love Books
A couple of years ago I read Mary Shelly's Frankenstein. I had seen many of the various film interpretations
and was curious to know how the real story went.
A brilliant book and a real page turner. It hardly needs saying that this is a moral tale. The principal moral being a contemporary warning about the danger of meddling with creation.
Simple you might say, but I found myself in such a dilemma as to who out of Frankenstein and his monster was the real villain, the answer may be clear maybe not, perhaps I just missed the point or perhaps it's an indication of what a brilliantly engrossing story this is and how one can become so engrossed in a book that it almost becomes real.Whatever the answer I was left feeling quite disturbed and as I have no literature loving friends I have until now been unable to see or hear anyone else's opinion.
I would love to read the opinion of anyone who has read this book.
Thanks in anticipation of some opinions.
