I've Always Loved Reading

Even when I was a kid. I think it's just something I picked up from my mom. I even aqcuired my taste for Stephen King & V.C. Andrews from her. Unfortunately, she doesn't like King anymore; now she only reads black fiction books - not my slice of cake. I like fantasy/horror novels. Stuff like Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings, Lolita, A Clockwork Orange, Fight Club, Firestarter, Eragon, The Sookie Stackhouse series..and history! Particularly the weird, horrific events in history. Like the Salem Witch Trials, the Bubonic Plague, Vlad the Impaler, the Hungarian Countess Elizabeth Bathory, who bathed in the blood of virgins...The bible also has some ****** up & interesting passages. But all that set aside, the main attraction of reading (to me) was just getting wrapped up in the story, or beign transported to another world. Well, the latter is more or less aimed at the Harry Potter series. When I read them, I wanted to be sent to Hogwarts! I forgot what my point was - excuse my rant.

Just looked it up. Didn't they make a movie of it with the guy who played Aragorn from the LOTR? The story itself sounds interesting - I'll see if the library has it. :D

Like you, I also enjoy reading and even from a young age I was obsessed with the Harry Potter series. A book I would highly recommend is The Road by Cormac McCarthy.
