Traveling Books

I love to read!  I've recently discovered a group called bookcrossings  at   The idea is to send books out into the wild, by leaving them in public places wear others will pick up the free booking and send it traveling.  The idea is to register the book at the website, attach directions to the book on how to log it on the site....then see if and when it gets picked up.  You may never know what happens, but it is exciting to share books that way.  I was reading the latest Murder Women's Club book by James Patterson last summer on vacation.  Three ladies came up to me on the beach and asked me if it was good.  At the end of the week, I gave it to one of the ladies, and asked that she pass it on to others.  I know she shared it with friends, but unfortunately, they aren't all logging the book's journey.  Oh, by the way, this is world wide!
