Such a simple setting, yet it's a really quirky little comedy. Ounumbered follows the day to day life of the Brockman family - Mum, Dad and their three 'darling' children - Jake, Ben and Karen. I'm told that there is some improv that goes on as well when it's being recorded. Outnumbered reminds me in some ways of early Red Dwarf - it's very character driven, with a vague storyline hidden in there somewhere. That's what makes me love the first few episodes of Red Dwarf so much, all that slightly irrelevent-to-the-storyline character interaction. I do highly reccommend the series, it is a wonderful comedy, I believe in it's third series, that really captures the chaos of modern day life. It's so fresh compared to all the foul-mouthed comedy that is usually on after the watershed.
