I don't want to cut carbs out of my life. They make me feel full, are great 'early morning' fuel, and help keep my body healthy.

Carbs are also delicious.

Mmm pasta, and my home made bread, and muffins!!

Why people give this up I'll never understand.

As a bodybuilder, I stopped eating carbs pre competition. Yes I lost a lot of weight, but it also made me seriously ill - it was stupid. There's no substitute for a proper balanced diet - giving up carbs, like all diets, makes you gain weight in the long run. I'm deffo with you on this - don't ditch the carbs!.

They follow the faddish diets, is why. And they frequently come to grief by omitting (or severely limiting) something the body needs to run correctly.
