I love japanese cars. I've had 2 nissans, one being a 1984 nissan 200sx (Silvia S12 in japan) and a 2007 Nissan Sentra. For me, I can't stand american car simply cause their only good for one direction, straight. Anyone can slam on a pedal and do that. Yeah, shifting at the right time is key for that, but, the same goes for most other forms of racing. Even my father says that drag racing is only done to show who has the faster car. I enjoy racing that shows a driver skill like Drifting, Touge, and Rally Racing. Most people don't know what touge is. Well, it started in the Japanese mountains and the word touge means "pass". It's when you have 2 cars (one in the front and one in the back with a 2 car lenght gap ionbetween). Then they race either up or downhill and if the car in the rear closes the gap by the end of the race, he/she wins. And if the lead car expands the gap, they win. Then they swich positions and do it again. Unless the car in the rear passes the guy in front or if the lead car gets a concederable lead on the rear car. Then you know who the better driver is. Muscle cars usually aren't any good at this form of racing due to having to point a V8 around each turn and their typical heavy weight and softer suspension. You may think its weird but, the 1985-87 Toyota Corolla (AE86) are one of the best cars to use in this form of racing due to it weighing less than a ton. The Nissan Silvia (S12-S15/200sx and 240sx in america), Nissan Skyline GTR, Toyota Supra, Toyota Chaser, Toyota Mr2, Honda NSX, Honda S2000, Mitsubishi GTO (3000gt in the states), and the Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution l-X (America only has 8, 9 and 10 sold here) are just some great imports.

Ahaha. My dad worked in a GM plant all his life and if I buy a Jap car, I will be disowned. Heck, if someone even parks their foreign car in my driveway, they have to park it on the street.

So what cars DO you like then if you don't like SUVs, American cars, or trucks? Just the typical foreign sedan?

    Enlighten me!
