just love cats . I have one pet cat. She's a gray tabby. I think she's quite cute. She's really sweet to us and loves being petted and played with. She sometimes wakes us up early in the morning though, that part I don't like so much. But mostly she's a well behaved cat. She only scratches on the cat scratcher and never goes potty outside the litter box. She is so cute and sometimes will run up to us when we come home and meow because she wants to be petted. I love her!

Her name used to be Rosie, but then she had kittens and the kids started to call her Mama Kitty and it stuck.Her cutest trick is to stand up on her back legs like a squirrel begging to be petted!   |

| Posted Jun 5th, 2008 at 10:16AM yeah, my kitty will wake us up by jumping on the bed and meowing at us. basically she wants to be fed! and petted. she doesn't really want us to sleep in. |
| Posted Jun 5th, 2008 at 10:25AM I have four cats in the house, and if I don't get up when they think I should I have all four standing on me, pawing at my face and pleading. At night , it's the same story. If they think it is bedtime and I'm still downstairs, they won't leave me alone until I go up! |
| Posted Jun 5th, 2008 at 10:32AM its amazing how cats can tell time even though they don't wear watches or read clocks! they have good internal clocks I guess. and they are pretty darn accurate! my cat tends to want to wake us up at the same time every morning. |
| Posted Jun 5th, 2008 at 10:41AM Yes, BD...and they really like their routines, too! It's like a parade when we come downstairs in the morning. And it's always the same. I've taken to sitting down with them on the floor after Ive fed them. The two older boys get to eat first. The girl and younger boy sit with me to be petted. Then they trade. Same thing every day!A certain comfort to our little morning ritual--for them and for me:) |
