I Love My Babies Too

Litter boxes are a pain, but they take just 30 seconds of a day, and the kitties are totally worth that. :-) You should tell your friend to spay/neuter her cats. They are already too many unwanted, without homes in this world.

I have 5, Squeak, 17, Maggie, 15, Mike and Bisset, 6, and Garfunkel, 2. The Siamese run the house, Mike and Bisset, Mike did not learn how to be the boss cat from Frasier who was 19 when he passed, he has a tendency to throw his weight around. However, he does not bug Gar or Maggie much. Gar, male acts like a rag doll if Mike gets rough, Maggie never learned how to play, you find Mike fur everywhere when he runs at her. I love all my cats, they each have a different personality, and different needs. Bisset has decided she is my baby. Don't know why, but she is even jealous of the wife, if I kiss her, Bisset is at my feet crying, what a little weird wad.
I agree with the previous poster, your friend needs to limit her cat population. I love cats, and I hate seeing the conditions they can come too with uncontrolled breading. Squeak and Maggie come from such backgrounds, Mike and Bisset were rescued from an unscrupulous breeder, Garfunkel was abandoned with his brother Simon, Simon did not survive his teen period. He was way to brave and sure I could save him no matter the circumstance, a golden eagle proved him wrong. I still miss the little turd, he was a house full of cats all by himself.

I have only had two cats. My second one meowed all the time - very annoying. He also tore my furniture up. I had a love/hate relationship with him. I will get another one some day but not right now.

i love cats, i miss mine. she got hit by a car and now i can't afford one.

We raise Maine Coon cats.. and litter is about 20-30 seconds a day.. is your friend a breeder?

awe.... I miss my little Jade(not allowed in the dorms)... and Ginger(runaway)... wonder if he's still alive... should be he was a good mouser
