The Tao Of Chinese FoodI have always been a picky eater my entire life, and when my parents would order out, they would usually get chinese. I saw what they ordered and I said absolutely not. I'm not eating that. All I saw was fried noodles, crab meat delights, sweet and sour chicken, shrimp and mushroom sauce and pork fried rice. I wanted no part of that meal. So I just got a burger from somewhere and that was alright with me.
Until the next day when I saw the chinese left-overs, I saw a take out box in the fridge. I opened it and it was pork fried rice. I looked at it... analyzed it... smelled it... and I took a bite... and it was revalation. I ate the remainder of the rice and that week, my mother got me pork fried rice. I've been addicted to chinese food ever since. This story took place last year by the way.
And that is the Tao of how I discovered chinese food.
