Even With Chocolate

When I pull a tag off a giving tree in December, I like to find some way to connect with the anonymous recipient. This year I found a young woman who aged out of foster care, who merely asked for chocolate.

So far I have a box of double chocolate brownie mix, and my daughter bought an assortment of cocoa mixes. She is thinking of adding a box from See's Candies, and I have been window shopping in the chocolate aisles and the Christmas gift basket selection at the local stores.

This is so much fun! If money were no object, I would get her enough for a chocolate party. And if I can find one nearby, I would love to shop at a British shop for some rather unknown candy bars. I personally didn't like "Flake", but it was memorable. Hmm, maybe I should run out to the Korean store, too. Surely they like chocolate in Korea. Did I tell you how much fun I am having? Truly, it is better to give than receive--even with chocolate!
