60s And 70s Are My Favorate

This music will live on thanks to you and others.It was and is still great.

The 60' music was the music I grew up listening to on the radio. I'm glad that so many young people listening and loving it after all these years. In my mind the 60's musically didn't really start in 1960 but November of 1963 and lasted until around 1975. There was vitality in song writing and sophistication to the performances. Quite a few of the bands had a raw edge, a blues based earthiness, that infused it with a differentiating mark from that of the 50's rock and the later stadium sound. If you listen to the early Animals, Stones, Pocol Harem recordings, you can't miss or mistake that raw blues infusion.

I prefer the Stones - particularly their Exile on Main Street era.
