Comfort Foods

I am trying to get healthy and fitter and get rid of my life saver that  jiggles around my middle, so I eat healthy for abit then all of a sudden I have a craving for comfort foods.  Rice pudding, mashed potatoes, ice cream, cookies, chips etc.....sure wish I knew how to not have this comfort food craving and find comfort somewhere else other wise Im going to end up unhealthy unfit and have medical problems in the future.

Both ideas sound yummy will have to give them a try...always good to try new things :)

I mixed mashed potatoes with little bit salt, lemon juice and virgin olive oil. It is healty and yummy ;)

well I could say yours are strange...grins but where Im from and the other countires I have lived in that is the basic way mashed are made and if you want to add some good old cheese, veggies, or whatever it all depends on the taster and what he wants to do with the potato

Mashed potatoes are unhealthy when mixed with butter, margarine, or sour cream othewise plain they are just fine

If you take out the butter/margarine and the sour cream, they're just plain blah.
