Comics are among the coolest of art forms I think. It's written words, but with picture art too, I mean, just about perfect. I got into comics around the age of 10, mostly Batman stuff. The first series' I collected were Robin and Spider-man 2099. I had/have a huge crush of the Tim Drake Robin. I don't think I've gone a month without buying a comic since, my collection is now under 2000 and growing. My husband says I have too many and I say I don't have enough

    Which 3 did you buy?

I started collecting when I was around 7-years-old. Batman, The Flash, Green Lantern were amongst my fave-raves. I never cared for Marvel all that much. I thought DC artists and writers were much better. This was back in the 1960s.

I still enjoy comix. I find vintage issues anywhere and gobble them up.

When I was that age, my Dad said, you need a hobby. Everyone does. He was right. Now, I collect comix, baseball cards, Peanuts ***** books. The stuff I grew up with. I see them differently now. They seem more valuable, but not in a tangible way.

    Happy Collecting!
