COUNTRY Living

I LOVE THE COUNTRY!!! IT IS QUIET,PEACEFUL, AND PEOPLE AREN'T IN YOUR BUSINESS.IT IS LIKE LIVING IN A DIFFERENT WORLD WHERE YOU CAN ESCAPE TO..IT'S LIKE A MAGICAL SERENE PLACE WHERE YOU HEAR THE SONGS OF THE BIRDS AND  YOU CAN SEE THE SCAMPER OF WILDLIFE.MY HUSBAND AND I PURCHASE SOME LAND BY THE LAKE SO THAT WHEN HE RETIRE,WE HAVE A PLACE TO GO TO. WE DO HAVE A TRAVEL TRAILER UP THERE AND WE GO STAY  UP THERE LIKE EVERY OTHER WEEKEND. IT IS OUR PLACE TO ESCAPE TO FOR NOW..

I agree growing up in the country myself.Athough I now live around a large city...I always hope to go back to the country one day.I've never stopped missing it.

I have to agree... there are definite advantages to country living... my nearest neighbors are about a quarter mile down the road from me. But.. we know each other, and help each other out. Another thing is that it's actually a couple degrees cooler out here in my woods. I also find that it's easier to put a mental distance between me and work when I put the physical distance between me and work! And it's kinda cool to find deer & bunny rabbits in your front yard!! Of course, the down side is you're generally the last to get power restored if there's a large outage...
