Daffodils = Hope

Daffodils brighten what would otherwise be a pretty dreary view. I try to plant about one-hundred or so each year. The critters help spread them once you get started. I have more in the oak grove up the hill. Winter is nearly over!

jophene: Thanks for your comment. I'm hoping to get more with orange centers. Daffodils are one of the few flowers around here that the deer don't touch. Forsythia, tulips, crocus and tiger lilies all have to be behind netting, fencing or fishing line. The next surge of flowers will be lamb's tounges (erythronium oregonum).

A nice selection as well. They are beautiful, cheerful and thanks for the pics a delight to see them in bloom.
