I Love Dextromethorphan
I first learned of this drug through a friend of mine who suggested I try something called triple c's, or coriciden cough and cold. There little red pills with 30 mg of dextromethorphan and 4 mg of some antihistamine I cannot recall the name of at the moment. Dextromethorphan is the ingredient that gets you 'high'. As with any drug I was considering trying I thoroughly researched it before I tried. From what I found about 1/3 of the poeple that dex love it, 1/3 hate it, and 1/3 are indifferent. The drug is a dissasociative anaesthetic, along the same lines of pcp or ketamine. When taking the drug its effects are classified as plateuos in accordance with the dosage. 1.5-2.5 mg/kg of body wieght bieng the 1st, 2.5-5 the 2nd, 5-7.5 the 3rd, and 7.5-15 bieng the 4th and final plateuo. The 1st platueo is basically a mild euphoria, 2nd a little stronger, 3rd you become very very dissasociated from your body and the outside world, and 4th many users have reported an out of body experience. Along with any plateuo there is a feeling of weightlesness as if your flying and a numbing of your entire body.
Well thats for how it works, and as a pretty regular user I usually go for a high 2nd to low 3rd platueo high. I get it from zicam cough max spray which is a 1 ounce liquid highly concentrated with dxm(390 mg/ 1 ounce) and since dxm is the only active ingredient it takes effect sooner and is safer.
I spend my trips doing a variety of different activities. Some of my favorites include, watching a scary movie, dancing while at parties, or simply lying down in a completely dark room with my ipod blasting techno music (dextromethorphan causes closed eyed hallucinations or eyes open but in a dark setting which i find to be a pleasurable experience. )
I lovee robo tripping ! It is my favorite way to liven up a boring weekend or put an edge on a dead kick back or party. (:
