Still A Great Place...

I rediscovered the drive-in about 10 years ago at the end of a day off. Found the drive in I went to during High School had revamped and now caters to families. I always loved the drive-in. I started taking my family on a regular basis. Still brings a smile to my face...

I have never been to a drive-in. Since land is so valuable where I live, it just doesn't pay anymore is the argument. But you really cannot put a price on a way of life, a mindset--and drive-ins recall a special time, and a feeling that you seem to be recreating with your family excursions. I think that is wonderful. I'm sorry I missed out. Maybe I'll find myself somewhere someday where there is a showing and I will go. <br />
I loved this story, and the pictures are great too.

Thanks, taking my family really created a new atmosphere of drive in experiences for me. When I was a teenager it was cruising the diner and than going to the drive in. The place holds a lot of memories for me.

I would highly recommend going sometime if you get a chance when you are in an area that has a drive in.
