I Love Falling Snow
Because I'm Nothing If Not A Brilliant Planner :)

So, today I took my car in for service. There were two recall notices so the dealer is fixing the issues. The forecast was for 45 degrees and partly cloudy, but you never know in Colorado. I brought a coat and a hat just in case.
After dropping my car off at the dealership, its shuttle service gave me a ride to a fabric store in Boulder. I needed three yards of fabric to make a veil for a dance class I'm taking. I figured after I purchased the fabric I'd walk the mile or so to the Panera Bread for a late lunch and to get some work done.
Lo and behold, I exited the store, and it was snowing - big, white, fluffy flakes. I put on my coat and hat and braved the elements. :) I walked the mile or so, uphill in the snow, but thankfully, I wasn't barefoot as I've heard grandparents lament in the past.
The snow was pretty as it softly fell covering my hat, my coat, my jeans and my boots, but I was fairly warm with my hands in my pockets (didn't have gloves).
Now, I'm sitting cozily in Panera Bread, after enjoying my late lunch, writing this silly story and am glad I brought the coat and hat.
It's the unexpected occurrences that make life interesting, don't you think? I can't complain. Life is pretty darn good from my perspective as I watch snow softly fall and enjoy an afternoon coffee and EP. :)
