I Love Films That Make Me Think About Life

Here's a little gem I just saw and thoroughly enjoyed -- Bella.  An independent movie and winner of 2007 Toronto Film Festival.  A simple story about love, family, forgiveness and redemption.  A bit of a heart-wrencher but not overdone; no familiar faces but very well acted.  Check it out.

    The hottie lead man is Eduardo Verastegui. He's an actor from Mexico who used to be a big soap star, but he moved to the US and did "Chasing Papi." He was on an interview with Cristina (Latin version of Oprah) and he talked about how he found God and rejected all the superficiality and BS Hollywood lifestyle and wanted to do a movie about something that actually mattered. I haven't seen the movie yet, but I hear he hit the mark. I really like him.
