It's My Breath of Fresh Air From City Lie.

Our fishing hole is fresh water and just a hop, skip and a jump from where we live. It takes longer to pack up the car then it does to get to it. I'm nearly always the first to catch a fish because I use the smallest hook I have to catch my bait fist.

The area we camp in has a lawn better then the one we have at home and the edge of the river/lake is a mass a shady gum trees. My seventeen year old daughter loves it so much, she casts till she has blisters.

The title to your story says it all...we have some lakes near us too but we drive 2 hours away to southern Missouri for a week at a time and just enjoy. No police sirens blaring at all hours, no thumping stereos...just the crickets and the frogs. And the view of the stars at night is breathtaking. <br />
