My Serendipity

I started traveling when I was very young. My hometown felt tight and I couldn't wait to get away from my parents, so I looked for every  available job that could take me abroad. I managed to graduate from university and became a journalist: of course I picked foreign politics, so I could travel some more. I went to India, China, the Middle East, all of Europe, Latin America... you name and I went there. Then, for some reason I don't recall I ended up in Miami Beach, eighteen years ago, when it was still quaint and quiet. I fell in love with my husband and with the ocean, the beaches, the big skies, the trees and the summer heat. I saw Miami Beach grow into the international city it's nowadays and I'm still happy to get up in the morning: everyday is the same and different at the same time. The nature is still glorious, the rain still has a beautiful smell and sound to it and the sun burns everything clean.
Believe it or not, I haven't taken a plane in twelve years.

If you are happy somewhere it is marvellous,I am happy where I am now but it was not always the case. When I left Melbourne and came here I thought I had died and gone to heaven! It took great effort to leave a place I was coming to thoroughly dislike to come where I live now but it was well worth it

You knew what you wanted, went out and got it.Respect to you vita :)

I would love to be there¡
