I Love Food
I talk about food, or at least think about it, a lot, when I am bored or hungry....can you tell? :P
I am on a strict calorie counting diet(self imposed), I keep a food log everyday, and am in my third week. I am trying to lose a few inches to fit into my favourite summer clothes. It is maddening! All these stupid food groups keep popping up here.... I like pancakes, I love lasagne, I love to cook! *screams* lol
At least this stupid diet forces me to eat better, learn portion control, and savour what I allow myself to have. My pasta salad today, even though it had....*eek*....carbs in it(kidding.... I allow for carbs, but in smaller quantities than before...it is torturous to cut them out completely!!) was so tasty. I love tasty, but healthy. I don't feel guilty after eating it, and you can have it, most of the time, without adding a bazillion calories. Like dill pickles. I LOVE them, and they are super low in calories. Same with strawberries, raspberries, melon, cucumbers, etc. No fat in those either!
But... I am currently craving a belgian waffle. There is a whole box in the freezer taunting me. 200 calories a pop without being covered in butter and maple syrup! OMG.... I can hardly stand it!
