I
worked for a couple of years in an astronomy institute. It was located in a small forest (since the institute has grown a lot since I left, I doubt that the forest is there anymore). I used to love to go into it and take pictures.The students used to take a walk on a paved path through it after dinner.
I miss the forest. I also miss the companionship (I have never made friends afterwards and more than a decade has past).
I include a couple of pics. The first of the students during the walk, and the other a closeup of the ground of the forest.
