know freedom means different things to different people. When i say "I love freedom" I don't mean it in the patriotic sense... I'll stay neutral on that issue for now... anyway when I say I love freedom I mean it in a more personal way. Freedom has always been a driving ideal in my life/world. Like my motivation for quitting smoking is freedom... not being a slave to the cigarettes, to a nicotine addiction- recognizing that truthfully I don't choose to smoke each cigarette anymore, that's a lie- I don't really choose to smoke unless I can also choose not to. So I'm damn well gonna choose not to and see how that goes.
Also freedom for me--- well I love being on vacation because I feel free- I can wake up and choose what to do each morning, I don't have to slave away at my job all week! i KNOW, I choose to work bla bla bla, you don't have to point that out to me. I'm sort of puzzling over how to improve my life, the outward circumstances of it- well there is a lot that is really good in my life as it is, I'm very blesses in many ways- and also I do ponder over how and what changes i can make to be happier with my life every day. Sometimes I think I'd like to just run off to the mountains. But I need health insurance (lol) and other practical stuff like that.
This story isn't very focused, sorry.
I believe that inner work and self awareness increases our choices and increases our freedom.
