I Love Freedom

I think that alot of people cannot commit because they value their freedom. I myself loathe the idea of commitment. I beleive that it is because of my childhood when my stepdad over powered me with violence and torture and I couldn't fight back for freedom from him. I love being intimate....yes! Sometimes even my own heart desires to settle, but it would take a special someone to break me. I am WILD like a horse and I won't break easily. I have met others like me but only male who have been severely abused as children and refuse to settle because they enjoy the freedom that they desired so passionately at one time. That freedom is the fire that directs their lives. :)

I appreciate the kind words. :) True love does demand space on both sides of a relationship. I will forever live VOID of any contracts and I respect ALL others who do the same. Let the fire burn!!!!!!!

I completely agree with Koy. I know that this can be hard to accept, given the level of brainwashing North Americans go through at the hands of mainstream media, but contracts have no place in love! If you really love someone, you don't want to tie them down. You want them to stay with you because they LOVE YOU, not because there's a ball and chain around their ankle.

You can have love and freedom. If you ask me, true love DEMANDS it!

wow! Well written! Fire is right!

I have a passion for freedom too and hate the idea of tying another person down! I think freedom binds closer in a relationship anyway. Can you not be totally free and yet also next to someone at the same time?
