I Love Full Moons

Especially Saturday...

....When the moon was really close to the earth. I forget how close it was said to be, but it was gorgeous nonetheless. I didn't get to see it at moonrise when it was at its fullest, but I was told that it was breathtaking. I saw the moon the last time it went into eclipse, and that was nothing short of amazing; if you have never seen a lunar eclipse, that event is the best time to see a full moon, let me tell you. Beautiful, just beautiful to behold.

    did you catch the last full moon that shock the world because it becomes so big like those in the twilight movies,well up here people are not so superticious about the phenomenon but for myself i guess its really breathtaking to see such awesome pictures

    Yes Lunar eclipses are great to behold. Better than solar ones, because you can see them directly and they last much longer. The next one is at the next full moon, but unfortunately not a total one.

    I remember a few years ago our phone rang after midnight. We were not asleep, but in bed and......well, Anyway, We leapt up to get the phone thinking it was bad news - as it usually is at such times, but thankfully no. It was a friend telling us to get up and look at the lunar eclipse. It was really well worth being disturbed to see.
