No Umbrellas thank you

I lived in the Pacific Northwest for several years. One of the first things I noticed when I moved there was that no one there used an umbrella when it rained, they seemed to embrace the raindrops as a baptism of nature's grace. I was raised to believe that getting wet would make you sick but later learned that the rain helps make you whole. I accepted their wisdom and I've never used an umbrella since.

"they seemed to embrace the raindrops as a baptism of nature's grace"-- I love how you worded that. Be warned, I am going to plagerize your words! That is the best description I have ever heard!
