This is another reason I started my own church (the emaculate custodians of God) it is better to pray alone than in a church. A man who stands in front of a crowd preaching the gospel and asking for money for the church is not Gods servant.

With all due respect mama12345678 judging from your story it would be safe to say,you are also a Christian. The church is not the building with walls it is a universal church a body of Christ that is all over the world. The 1st disciples were called by people Christians because their conduct was Christ-like.No one is perfect if we so called Christians were then what would be the point of the Cross, what would be the point of the Holy Spirit who teaches us how to be a pleasing sacrifice be for our God:-).All of us have areas to improve the Church of the living God cannot be man made thats why Jesus whipped them in one synagogue:-)

Hi souloftheworld. Yes, I completely agree with you that many "christians" would call me a "christian" because I had that supernatural exchange of faith in Christ and live with the Holy Spirit indwelling in me. But I refuse to put myself in that category. First reason being is that the "christian" majority have been a complete failure to God, to the world and to each other.
The church as you define it, is not man made, I agree with you, because the Holy Spirit lives within each of us who has made that exchange of faith. BUT, the church (as you define it) fails because they rest on the thinking of man, the ways of man, the ideology of man. The church, as seen from the outside unbelievers, it a pit of hell and hatred. The church has completely failed (though there are very very few who live outside of mainstream "christianity") in showing love, acceptance and tolerance of the outside world.
If every single church as torn down. Every single pastor fired. Every single title taken away. If every single penny put to church pews, carpet, big bands, lighting etc etc etc .. were put into the mental health and emotional health of the church body... if everyone went to therapy (with a qualified therapist).. if everyone decided that they were not going to try to minister deeply to someone without being healed first... the world would be a much Godlier place. Christians are too concerned with telling someone what God says and what they should or should not do and not concerned NEARLY ENOUGH with themselves and how God can make them pure. "Christians" are too concerned about being "christian" instead of being Godly. Too busy with bumper stickers, plaques, going to this event and that event ... than seriously taking every minute of the day asking the Holy Spirit to change them AT ANY COST. You are correct that no one is perfect and that is why we need Jesus. But the mindset of "christianity" is that once saved then they are lead to be pastors or preachers or evangelists ... but they do so WITHOUT taking the quality years and even decades it takes to change oneself to be sooooooo cleaned out by the Holy Spirit that then they can be used GREATLY OF GOD. The brokenness, the pain, the suffering it takes to become THE KIND OF GODLY PERSON GOD CAN REALLY USE AS A instrument is so painful that people don't even bother to take that route. "Christians" can barely take a look at themselves without disliking themselves, they dont see their internal failures as well as they should.. too busy looking into the speck of the other person than looking at the log in their own eye.... who can minister in a Godly fashion from that disadvantage?. I've been through it sister and have been called to a particular pathway in life that will bring change to the church so it can better minister to the world, to itself and to God. The "christian church" needs far more help than the world does, because they know God, yet refuse Him in every detail of their hearts and minds. Until the church cleans up its act, who is going to want to come in??? The "christian church" has it completely backwards. Salvation comes first, then recovery comes next (for as long as it takes until God says it is finished) THEN ministering to others.
My view is radical. My view is hated and will continue to be hated by others. My view is only agreed upon by three other people (that I know..many I dont know), God and my husband and my child. What the church is doing and how the church is doing it.... is completely failing. Change must come. God bless each and every single one of us who need HIM every moment, every day for everything. God bless every one of us who decides to take a knee and tell God, "God, from this point on You are welcome to do anything You want with me, NO MATTER THE COST AND NO MATTER THE PAIN." it will be the best prayer ever prayed, the best life to live yet full of suffering and pain to have the "self" ripped out of us so that only God can live. Galatians 2:20 Good luck... i understand you wont like what I hve to say.. and that is ok LOL Have a super night!! much love and hugs :)

oh!! lol i forgot to say this part ... God can heal us and cleanse us so well through the power of the Holy Spirit that almost nothing will bother us. if LGBT people choose to love who they choose to love... there wont be any negative feelings towards them... only love. It is not the job of the "christians" to judge. There are many many places in the bible where Paul writes but they are incomplete. God is complete. Paul was and the bible is incomplete. Example: 1 Timothy 4:15 "give your complete attention to these matters. Throw yourself into your tasks so that everyone will see your progress".... that is not a healthy statement. Throwing yourself into a task is not healthy. Doing a task so everyone will see your progress is not healthy. God can change us so much (man it will hurt) that we can be far more mature emotionally and mentally than Paul was. That is not to say that Paul had nothing to offer, he did and still does. But the bible is extremely incomplete compared to the Power and Presence of God. The bible is extremely incomplete compared to what God wants to do with each of us.... His ways are higher than our ways. His thoughts higher than our thoughts. If the "christians" continue to use the bible as their mainstay, their standard, their bread .... there is no hope for growth as God would like us to have growth. So anyway,.. that is what many of us think. A lot of us dont speak out much because of the backlash that is given. But, I dont care. I mean yes, I do care sometimes. But not all the time. Sometimes I just like to say what I am thinking and feeling. But I do keep these thoughts under lock and key many times ... "christians" get soooo angry and protective of "their ways"... like there can't be another way.... There is no other way to God but through Jesus Christ.. BUT there is an eternal highway of other ways to get the message of Godliness and Christ to each other and to the world. Love and hugs!! :)

oh! and also.. in typing words we are unable to see each other or feel each others feelings. i have really strong views but they are only for me. I am fine with other people not having my views... God changed me sooooo much that I can stand strong with my views but do it in a loving and kind way.. and not feel negative feelings towards someone who has different views. I totally understand (just like you do yay!) that it is a process and we are in it together! peace and blessings for you
