Belgian Beers

So luscious. A country whose king and queen toast with beer coincidentally has the best beers anywhere. I was just there again recently and got to taste my favorites again. DeKoninck and Hoegaarden De Verboten Vrucht are two regional standouts, one a Flemish ale, the other a very advanced, bottle feremented "red" witbier from Wallonia. They accompanied my meals there, and were a welcome treat in between. In heaven there is no beer. That's why we drink it here!

Don't completely agree with you but I do really love Belgian Fruit beers - so tasty and refreshing!

What do those taste like? can you make a comparison? I have not tried any of the beers mentioned...

MMM, I just drooled a little. I have 5 gallons of a Duvel clone and 5 gallons of a beer named Dubbel Trubble ready to be kegged. Gonna be a busy weekend.
