It Must Have Been Love At First Sight

Ever since I was little, I've loved food. Not just sweets, which are a usual favorite amongst children, but also vegetables and all sorts of savory foods. I tell you, growing up and loving broccoli, lettuce and asparagus has made wonders for me.

I speak a lot in my stories about what influenced me as a little girl, because I can draw parallels with what is going on now in my life. I was raised in a family where everyone loved to cook and eat different kinds of foods from all over the planet, and I have a averagely healthy diet. I don't eat fast food, but I do love good french fries from a nice little restaurant. I like wine with my food, and I like my food to be light enough for me to be able to feel full but not ready to explode. I like to enjoy every bite to it's fullest.
I am very picky when it comes to food. It has to be perfect, otherwise I will feel uneasy for the rest of the day.

I feel loving food is a very good thing in a child's life. It pays off in your adult life. I cannot imagine not enjoying the pleasure of eating good food with a glass of chilled wine. I have quite a few friends with eating disorders and I can't help but wonder if they had been taught to love food a bit more, maybe they would be different.
