He is my favourite author of all time. The first book I read of his was Kafka on the Shore. That got me hooked. Then I read After Dark, a brilliant BRIlLIANT book and then it was Norwegian Wood. Then after that I read South of the Border West of the Sun. After that I read Hard Boiled Wonderland and the End of the World. I'm now devouring Blind Willow, Sleeping Woman. I'm just about half-way through. His books are very detailed (perfect for a detail-oriented person such as myself) and yet very dreamlike, surreal yet still with the desc
riptions of real life infused into his writing. He's a total genius in my mind. Amazing writer. He really sets these incredible moods in his stories, a whole ambiance and feelings you get from his novels are just incredible. There is humour and dark deep meanings behind the text and the characters are so rich and eccentric. Such a wonderful guy.
