Haruki Murakami's Lecture - 08

Late last year, I made it to his lecture at UC Berkeley, CA. I'm a huge fan, read every single book he published in Japanese. His lecture was awesome, although I was a bit bummed that it was in English. His English was OK, but not nearly fluent that he could have gone more into depth in his native tongue....

Anyway, it was my dream came true that I saw him live and listened to what he has to say. He shared a lot about his views around the world, his imagination and writing. He described himself as 'an ordinary man' with little more imagination than most people. He's also a fan of Radiohead and people acutally applauded when he said that. I was so thrilled because his characters are often dark and they remind me of Radiohead and I'm a huge fan of them as well.
