Though I do not yet, have the disposable income of successful entrepreneurs and moguls of the Y generation, and am just teetering on the edge of adulthood with a kiddy income. My taste in couture is very ladylike and expensive.

Many will proclaim with indignation and righteousness we are enslaved to degenerate capitalist notions, and it is utterly pointless trying to conform to the ideals of frivolous and over-priced world of haute couture.

But if it makes one feel more desirable or beautiful wearing a genuine Alex Perry or Versace whether in private in ones boudoir or ostentatiously at the mall, is it such a sin? non.

I would happily be cuffed in Tiffany & Co. bracelets or be choked with a Harriet Winston diamond necklace everyday than be enslaved to a misogynist who would want me to be forever be a subordinate counterpart. Unless he bribes with a Chanel dress, Prada shoes and Diamonds from Hardy Brothers... ;)

Oh yes we must always remember clothes do not maketh the man, man maketh the clothes.
