It's funny. The reaction I get from people when I tell them I love heavy metal music. It kind of reveals how stereotypical people can be. I should know. Being a 15 year old, African-American/Irish/Puerto Rican/ every other ethnicity my family could think of, Baptist raised and currently Presbyterian, little rich girl who has a "white girl personality", no one expects my favorite music to be heavy metal. They all assume I like Gospel artists like Tye Tribbett or Kirk Franklin, or pop artists like Taylor Swift and Justin Beiber... Ummm. NO! Sorry but that's not my thing. The Louder and wilder the music, the better I like it. I'm not the little innocent "white girl" that everyone thinks I am. Yes my skin is brown and I say "like" every five seconds, but when it comes to music, I'm a whole different person.
