Don't Panic!

y eah.I got hooked when NPR aired the mightyfine BBC radio production in 1981 or so.discovered the books and they have colored my outlook ever since,one's never alone with a good alternate universe,eh?and yes,I try to bring a towel.mighty useful and if you think about it,mighty personal-you don't wish to share your towel with just anyone...Douglas Adams is a literary giant and our little ZZ9pluralZEDalpa sector just isn't as lively without his special knack for talespinning.I wish him well and thank him for the memories-and all the fish.

In high school we did a stage play of the Guide,it was great.I was the Vogon guard,which was double funny,cos I was a puny freshman throwing a pair of huge senoirs(Ford Prefect played by Jon Spencer!)out of the airlock and into the next chapter...I was kind of dissapointed with the film,prefer radio-call me old fashioned,but I have no digital watch at least.and I still hith-hike a bit to stay in practice and invite the next universal lesson,mostly harmless-so far.
