Getting Ready

It's getting close to that time, when my hubby and I start going through the shed, arranging things so they are easier to get to when the time comes. We decorate for Autumn/Halloween the beginning of September. We change the Halloween decorations out for Thanksgiving decorations November 1 and put up Christmas decorations the day after Thanksgiving.

We've decided this year, we're not going to be putting our 'Grim Reaper' arch over the front steps, since we planted flower beds and put solar lighting along the sidewalk.

I will still have my scarecrows, cornshocks and pumpkins, my flying ghoul and bats. LOL After all it's not Halloween without bats and ghouls. I will still bring out my cauldron and broom so the neighborhood kids know 'the Witch is home'. :)

I love the anticipation, knowing the season is approaching... just the thought of getting ready makes me giddy! :)

Ladies, I was just at Michael's buying some jewelry making supplies, I was overwhelmed by their autumn leaf supplies.
I like A.C. Moore for autumn leaf garlands, $4.00 for a 9 foot garland. I wanted more this year, as mine have seen much better days!
