If I am correct the original Texas Chainsaw Massacre was banned in the UK for quiet some time

I am on the fence about this movie, loved the original and seen it at the drive in theatre a loooooooooonnnnnnnnnnnnnngggggg time ago. What I love about the original is its like a nightmare that doesnt end, no funny parts in it. The last remake of the movie was ok, might go just haven't decided yet. Leatherface kicks ***!!!

It's not coming out in my cinema! :-(I
I could go to another city, but they play horror movies rather late usually, so I probably won't be able to travel back.

I don't know why they play bloody Pitch Perfect but don't play Texas Chainsaw 3D... bad choices.

maybe you should complain....i mean if the cinema doesnt know there is a demand then they wont change ?

It looks like it's going to be played in my cinema after all, just later than expected. ^^ So yeah, pfew, close call.

It's gotten mixed reviews ...my favorite 'remake' of it was house of 1000 corpses! Otherwise the original is the best!

Since when is House of 1000 Corpses a remake of Texas Chainsaw Massacre? It's inspired by the 1970-ies slasher movies, but that's about it.

" House of 1000 Corpses - Backwoods Horror. House of 1000 Corpses is at its heart a tribute to 70's exploitation horror, particularly backwoods slasher flicks like The Texas Chainsaw Massacre and The Hills Have Eyes. The very basic outline of its plot follows the normal backwoods slasher standard: A person or group of people get lost in a rural area they are unfamiliar with and one by one fall prey to some sort of local murderer, often times a whole clan of them"

That's what I mean, but it's not at all a remake, just inspired at most.
Oh well, what's in a word.
I liked House of 1000 Corpses a lot too btw. :-)
