Love 'em

I love horror movies not for what they depict, but for what they suggest.  The ideas and personalities suggested by them excite me.  I usually root for villains in television and movies, and in horror it's easiest of all, because usually the good guys are so one-dimensional it's easy to not like them.  The villains usually represent some sort of clear idea or thought, such as revenge, or hatred, or pure psychosis, while the protagonists wallow in fear, indecision, and trivial concerns.

The more human the bad guy, though, the better the movie.  Give me Mike Myers over Freddie any day.

So true

That's true...nothing better than a good FrightFest with your buddies in the dark to enjoy watching your friends scream...

Yeah me too. I mostly love the horror movies just because some of them scare me so much my boyfriend holds me. Makes for a night of fun though. Also fun to watch around Halloween time with friends.
