Confess the Lord...? There Is More to It to Be Saved...

Romans 10:9That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
10For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
One of the LARGEST Deceit IS WHEN PEOPLE HAVE THE Misunderstanding OF THE Scriptures… (Hosea 4:6 My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children.
Romans chapter 10 is one of the Chapters that a lot of people misunderstand, in result they send other people down the wrong path….because it is more to be saved. If anybody will be saved just by saying those words, All those other books that was written would not have to be there if that’s all you have to do to be saved. You are saved by what you do… not by what you say….
Ok…”9That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.” Many preachers say that, but they give no explanation. He tells you clearly in verse 10 “10For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; your faith will bring you unto obedience of the teachings of Christ, when you believe something in your heart, it is going to bring you unto righteousness. Unto is a transitional word; (it is taking you from one point to another). Your faith will take you UNTO……..UN-means breaking up….TO-means destination; So your faith will change the way you live, act, “be”, and the way you are. You will love your enemy. Your faith will cause you to change the way you are. The faith will make the husband love his wife; the faith will cause the wife to reverence her husband. So the bible is saying, when you believe in your heart what Jesus is saying, you act upon to do what he told you to do. The heart is what inside of your conscience, what you really feel. “And with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.” That’s when you are on your knees saying, asking God to help you...praying to God saying... Deliver me Oh God, save me God from this sinful way of living. Fill me with your spirit God…. And things of that sort……..
While you are making this confession, this thing what brings you Unto (transitional word). You still are not saved just because you said that but as you call upon him……….good way to remember the steps of salvation… Underline these words…. go from the bottom up. Start at verse 15 and go up to 13.
13For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.
14How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher?
15And how shall they preach, except they be sent? as it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things!
Ok. The preacher preach the people here what the preacher say; they are listening to what he is talking about, the next thing; they start to believe what the word say. Then they begin to call on him (JESUS); What happen when they call on him… they shall be saved. That’s how I got saved. I heard that word saying if I was not born of the water and the Holy Spirit I could not go to heaven. The next day I begin to cry out to God, telling him to save me and fill me with the Holy Ghost. The next thing you know I felt something hot like fire fall on my and I fell down and got back up crying like a baby and talking in tongs.
Mark 16” 17And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; 18They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.
Acts 16 1And it came to pass, that, while Apollos was at Corinth, Paul having passed through the upper coasts came to Ephesus: and finding certain disciples, 2He said unto them, Have ye received the Holy Ghost since ye believed? And they said unto him, We have not so much as heard whether there be any Holy Ghost. 3And he said unto them, Unto what then were ye baptized? And they said, Unto John's baptism. 4Then said Paul, John verily baptized with the baptism of repentance, saying unto the people, that they should believe on him which should come after him, that is, on Christ Jesus. 5When they heard this, they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus. 6And when Paul had laid his hands upon them, the Holy Ghost came on them; and they spake with tongues, and prophesied.
