Called Out Out Out

Hi. So I was reading this: ...and then I found this:

A.W. Tozer: "Christ calls men to carry a cross; we call them to have fun in His name. He calls them to forsake the world; we assure them that if they but accept Jesus the world is their oyster. He calls them to suffer; we call them to enjoy all the bourgeois comforts modern civilization affords. He calls them to self-abnegation and death; we call them to spread out like green bay trees or perchance even to become stars in a pitiful fifth-rate religious zodiac."

I'm so sad because I know this quote is so true. Can anybody please say something about this? Please.

Covetousness =idolatry Col. 3:5
Stubborness =idolatry 1 Samuel 15:23 (delayed obedience=disobedience)
ANYTHING more important than God=idolatry If you love a car more than God it is idolatry, a kitchen, a spouse, a child, a house, a tv show, a pastor, Anything that takes away from God being praised glorified honored worshipped =idolatry

It's true, I'm afraid. Read Matthew 5 to see what things Jesus blesses his followers for. It's so sad to me whenever I watch TBN these days and see pastors like Joel Osteen preaching feel-good messages when we live in such a time of spiritual and moral corruption in the world. We should be called to repentance every Sunday if need be, until we (the Church) humble ourselves and pray and seek His face and turn from -all- our wicked ways so that perchance, God will hear us from Heaven and heal our land.
Unfortunately though, these are days of decadence. Even Christians have been sucked into a false Christianity that worships the "experience" or promotes entertainment rather than worships the Lord Jesus in spirit and in truth, or promoting Godly values even when it is unpopular, uncomfortable and inconvenient.
So often at church or in prayer, as I've begun to draw near to God, I've been overcome with tears and overwhelmed with what I can only describe as the feeling of having a broken heart. In these moments, I believe the Lord showed me that this is how He feels about the current state of the world. His heart breaks for us continually and He wants us to understand that this life is not all fun and games. He wants His church to rise up and seek holiness, not for fear of losing salvation alone, but also for the sake of being Christ-like and reaching the lost for Jesus.
Tozer was a man of strong words and strong convictions but oh my, how the Lord spoke through him. As believers, God promises us trials and tribulations on earth just as Jesus experienced them, but our reward is heavenly.. not earthly. The modern day message to (at least the Western believers) however, seems to scream, "God is love! Nothing else matters! Just forget about the past and learn to see yourself as God sees you, with pure love!" And while there is a place for this, it is for baby believers, new converts, etc. Yet there are people who have been Christians for years and years and are still living Sunday to Sunday on the feel good messages that lull them into a spiritual sleep and prevents them from ever growing and being a light to the world.
God have mercy on us.

OMG I am soo in love! Intelligently is a blessing Lord my God, You told me that "The violent take it by force" As the woman with an issue of blood she didnt ask you she violently took it by force, Lord God I take hold of this blessing I violently and forcefully take hold of and not even satan cant take.

Ephesians 1:3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with ALL spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ: FYI Blessed=nothing missing, nothing broken
