Alone With Jesus

I love Jesus with all my heart, but lack Christian community.  I wish I had more people to speak about Jesus with.  It would make me feel less alone.  As it is, I have no one since my Mom has taken down with alzheimers.  I have no one to speak with about Jesus.

My spiritual path has been a long and winding path with Eastern and Western influences.  I am not dogmatic at all.  I do believe Jesus is our Lord and the Son of God.

    Hi there,

    It's hard to be disconnected from other believers, especially since we were designed to function as a body, and not alone. Jesus can use the times of solitude to draw you closer to Him and to grow you, but nevertheless, we suffer when we're separated from other believers!



    In high school I had a group of believers that I regularly fellowshipped with, but I've lost that this year and it's been difficult. Honeslty I've found a lot of encouragement talking to other believers online. It's not the same as physically being together, but we can still encourage each other, share prayer requests and experiences, and talk about Jesus.



    Have you looked into any local churches? Some have smaller groups that are age and sex specific if you have a hard time finding close connections in a larger church setting.
