Weather Or Not? Don't Ask The Indians...

The Indians living on a remote reservation in South Dakota had just gotten a new chief; & since he was in modern society he had never been taught the old secrets ways. So he would look@the sky & wouldn't have a clue of the weather. Nevertheless ,to be on the safe side he told his tribe that the winter was indeed going to be a cold one & that the members of the tribe should collect firewood to be prepared. But by being a practical leader, after several days, he got an idea. He went to the phone booth, called the National weather service & asked this;  'Is the coming winter going to be cold?'

'It looks like winter is going to be a very cold winter'  the meteorologist weather man responded. So the chief went back & told his ppl to collect even more firewood in order to be prepared.  A week later, he agian called the Nathional weather service & ask, is it still looking like a very cold winter? Yes it is the man@ the weather service replied , it's going to be a very cold winter.
The chief again went back to his people to tell them to collect up every scrape of firewood they could find & then some. Two weeks later, the chief called the weather service again' & asked, 'Are you absolutely sure the winter is going to be very cold?'   'Absolutely' the man replied, 'its looking more & more like it's going to be one of the coldest winters we've ever seen'  'How can you be so sure?' the chief asked.
The weather man replied, 'The Indians are collecting a huge load of firewood like mad!'
That about sums up weather forecasting~
