Layne Is My Rock

Layne is my savior.  He let me know that I wasn't all alone like I thought I was. (As cheesy as that sounds!)  And when you're 13 that matters.  He's a legend and always will be. Not only for his voice and writing some painfully deep lyrics but also for his awesome since of humor and kindness.   I don't know where my life would be right now if I hadn't discovered Alice in Chains. Seriously!  Jerry and Layne's voices just work so well together...I've never heard anything else like it.  I am sad that Layne succumbed to his drug addiction but he'll always be alive in my life.

I'm 26 now and will continue to be a die hard fan until and after I die.

alice in chains were one of the first bands i ever got into. what happened to layne stayley was so sad.

Yeah, they are up this way every once in a while. I think I would still go see them just to see Jerry play but I have a feeling when I got there I would just get sad and want to I opt out.

The new AIC is NOT ok, just a cheap & fake imiation. R.I.P. Layne...

Yeah it's sad but they're just not ready to let go yet. Did you ever see the video of Phil Anselmo singing with them? And I think there was some of Maynard singing too. Don't get me wrong I love both of those guys but it's not the same.

It kinda makes me sad that AIC is touring again. AIC isn't AIC without Layne.
