I read the unabridged book first. It was friggin' amazing. It got me learning French so I could read it in the original way it was intended. I love all the characters and the ending makes me cry every time. Beautiful.

    The end makes me cry as well! Also the beginning, and the middle... especially Fantine's death. I'm currently learning French also, and my one goal is to be able to read Les Mis in the original. :)
