Living Alone Is GreatYou are your own boss. You can come and go as you please and NOT have to answer to anyone
I've been loner ALL my life and have adapted to it well. My imagination is my best friend. I don't like being around people and least of all, living with someone else. I've had roommates in the past for financial reasons, but since I've retired and living on SS and have a home and vehicle both paid for, my living expenses fall well within my SS check, each month I don't need a roommate. It is so liberating to be financially free, second only to living alone. And having outlived my family I don't feel any self pity in my complete solitude.
I'm NEVER bored. There aren't enough hours in the day to accomplish all I want to. I keep abreast of the latest Mac Graphics Applications and surfing the net for the RIGHT reasons. I don't do chat rooms, [social networking] ****, nor do I gamble. I just glean the latest information on the latest events in graphic design and general information. Spend a lot of time on Wikipedia doing the later.
I exercise regularly both in home exercise room and mountain bike at daybreak at least 3 times a week. I'm settled into my lifestyle and for the first time in my live am fully content. I always count my blessings: good health, financial independence and and an active imagination. It is so nice to be able to make as much noise as I want and have the bathroom, kitchen and the whole house and low maintenance yard all to myself. Also classical and 50's rock and roll music are constant companions both in and outside my home.
