I'll Love You In The Morning

There's this lyric from a song that's really charmed me, "I'll love you in the morning" (Sunday by Bloc Party) and as I have been discovering all the things that make my body tick, I've discovered that that one line has defined me.

When the dark sets it, I crash on the bed and just want to sleep next to you. I want to feel you next to me, to feel your presence, to be able to say anything to you at any time during the night, whether you hear me or not. There is nothing more I need. I don't even need to see you, and maybe I don't even want to. Those 15 minutes I need to fall asleep are mine, all mine and are the most pleasant minutes of the day, right next to the mornings spent making love with you. When the light of day starts caressing our faces, I open my eyes, feeling refreshed, and smile at the sight of your calm, sleepy face. I like touching your lips, running my fingers through your hair and stroking your body as you lay there asleep, however the most satisfaction I get is from seeing how this is influencing your dreams, just so you can wake up ready for me... and as you wake up smiling, I become impatient and start covering you with kisses... and only then I will make love you to you.

That's why I say "I'll love you in the morning."
