When I feel crappy....if I can manage to make someone smile, it carries over. It starts making me feel better.
Making and giving little gifts, a love note in the lunch box, heartfelt hugs and smiles...virtual or otherwise, making people giggle with silliness, complimenting with sincerity, sharing a song they may like, just letting people know you are in their thoughts....and so on.
I know how I feel when someone bothers to show me kindness, when I am down, or just because, whenever. It makes a huge difference. It gives me a little sparkle of sunshine and the will to help me continue on with the day.....
