Mm

sometimes i like to pretend i am her reincarnation. crazy, i know. but it makes my life slightly more bearable. i love her. she is my idol. but more so someone i feel i can really relate to, regardless of any situation. and no one can take that away from me.

Wasn't Marilyn amazing. Wonderful, vibrant and beautiful woman ... who will be in our lives forever.

Some of her words:

"I don't know who invented high heels, but all women owe him a lot."

1956 interview about her childhood:" Looking back, I guess I used to play-act all the time. For one thing, it meant I could live in a more interesting world than the one around me."

"I restore myself when I'm alone."

My favorite: "I don't mind living in a man's world as long as I can be a woman in it."

Thanks for sharing.

I sometimes do that too.... =]

I think it's lame when celebrities try hard to be known as "the new marilyn"... like Anna nicole, madonna, etc etc (the list seems endless)

Another annoying person is Sherri Laird (sp?)... I don't believe her for a second.

PS: what you said about relating to her... that's why she's so legendary and mythical. People look at her and feel they know her or even that they were her in some past life. WHat most people don't understand is not everyone can reincarnate into Marilyn, cleopatra, etc. She could have turned into a dove or something.
But pretendind can't hurt. Especially if it makes your life more bearable.

:]

that's really cool
