The Bridge Between the Old Style and the New.

At one time, Hollywood was dominated by "pretty" actors who were larger than life.  Then Brando came along.  While he fit in with the likes of Laurence Olivier and Clark Gable, he had the gritty acting chops that influenced many a generation of stars such as Al Pacino, Robert De Niro, Edward Norton, and many others.

Consummately brilliant, his memory will live own although he is gone.
