I adore mashed potatoes. As a matter of fact, I am having them for supper this evening. I like them salty, skin on, cheesy & peppery. Oh, and w/ tons of Smart Balance.   Really I'll eat them pretty much anyway I can get'em. EXCEPT if they have white gravy on them. I loathe white gravy; makes me gag.

I prefer a dark meaty gravy on my mashed potatoes, but I'll have white gravy if its full of good sausage bits and pepper on buttery biscuits. --HXTP

My mom owns a resturaunt... Its actually called 'chicken gravy' sometimes, and I think its disgusting. Even the scent makes me wanna hurl. <br />

I LOVE BROWN GRAVY, though. The beefy, salty kind? Numnum!

Mashed taters are pretty great. And you appreciate the amazing versatility of them!
